Festival of Glass
The Festival of Glass is helping to build a sense of community as it promotes local glass artists. Established in 2011, the festival celebrates the beauty and versatility of glass in art, craft and industry and it promotes collaboration between people who work with glass. Unique in Australia, the Festival joins a handful of similar events worldwide

Bellarine Catchment Network
DCSCA has worked with the Bellarine Catchment Network to establish a coastal care group for the Clifton Springs – Curlewis area. DCSCA contributed to a booklet that was created in 2015 to increase community awareness of indigenous plants and identification of environmental weeds at the Clifton Springs foreshore.

Clifton Springs Foreshore
In October 2015 a hundred Clifton Springs Primary School students celebrated the natural and cultural history of the Dell at Clifton Springs at an environment day.
The students joined teachers, parents and local community groups in an ongoing project to protect and improve the area. Hands-on activities introduced them to the area’s plants, animals and history.
